Week 2-Day Five
Day Five: Living as Messengers of Peace
Isaiah 52:7-10
Reading
7 How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
8 The voice of your watchmen—they lift up their voice;
together they sing for joy;
for eye to eye they see
the return of the Lord to Zion.
9 Break forth together into singing,
you waste places of Jerusalem,
for the Lord has comforted His people;
He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 The Lord has bared His holy arm
before the eyes of all the nations,
and all the ends of the earth shall see
the salvation of our God.

Devotional
"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation." You are called to be a messenger of the peace you have received. You carry the greatest news the world needs to hear. God's peace doesn't come through grand gestures alone but through humble, faithful acts of love. Who in your life needs to hear about the Savior? Perhaps someone is searching for peace in all the wrong places. Your testimony, your kindness, your willingness to share Christ's love may be exactly what they need. Be that humble messenger today. Point someone to the manger, where true peace was born.
Reflection:
If the birth of Christ triggered a celebration in heaven because salvation magnifies God's glory above all else, how should this truth reshape our priorities and the way we celebrate Christmas?
