The Kingdom That Will Have the Final Word

Oct 11, 2026

In this sermon from Daniel 2:36–45, we see how Nebuchadnezzar’s dream reveals God’s sovereign rule over history. Earthly kingdoms may rise in power and seem permanent, but Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and every human government ultimately have an expiration date. Only God’s kingdom will never be destroyed.

The message highlights five truths for believers: human kingdoms rise by God’s permission, they are temporary, God’s kingdom will conquer them, Christ is the stone who will have the final word, and His kingdom will stand forever. In a world of political uncertainty and shifting powers, Christians can live with confidence because history is moving toward the reign of Jesus Christ.

The sermon concludes with a call to trust in Christ—the King whose kingdom will never end—and to live faithfully, proclaim the gospel boldly, and be ready for His coming.
